I am at Park City for the rocky mountain conference on dynamical systems this week. This is the first time I attend a national math conference. I really like it so far. Some really famous PhD’s come for this conference. It is great opportunity for me to hear from leading people in field of dynamical systems. I still have a lot of things to learn to understand what they are talking about, but as least I can feel the spirit.

Well, math conference is not the only thing I excited about in Park City. I will go to hiking Wednesday afternoon and go to the outlet mall shopping. This week is fun, and I will have more fun for the rest of the week.

Earthquake in China

A 7.9-magnitude earthquake took place in Sichuan  province, China on Monday morning. Right now,  about 10,000 people are dead and thousands are hurt.  This quake is the largest in the Sichuan province for a over a generations.

I know there were a lot of negative news about China recently, but I still want to ask all of you to please pray for those, who are hurt or still missing because of the quake, that will be healed or rescued soon. Please also pray for those who lost their family that they will be comforted.
